Before your breast augmentation, one of the decisions you will have to make with your surgeon is where to place your #BreastImplants.
There are 3 main options available:
Subglandular placement: Also known as “over-the-muscle”.
The implant is placed directly behind the breast tissue but on top of the muscle.
Subpectoral or submuscular: Also known as “under-the-muscle”.
The implant is placed partially under the pectoralis major chest muscle.
Dual-plane placement: The implant is placed partly above partly behind the muscle.
Why so many options? Because every #BreastAugmentation procedure is different, and factors such as your body and tissue type, size of the implant and your individual goals will determine which option is best for you.
