Now that you know that you need to check your breasts every month, do you know what to look for? Look for any abnormality, such as : • Swelling of all or part of the breast • Skin irritation or dimpling • Breast pain (not caused by the menstrual cycle) • Nipple pain or the nipple turning inward • Redness, scaliness, or thickening of the nipple or breast skin • A nipple discharge other than breast milk • A lump in the underarm area
Any suspicious change should be checked by a medical professional!
